NTV Swahili anchor Fredrick Muitiriri recently opened up about his past struggles with alcohol, specifically recounting his experiences as a chang’aa drinker in his home village of Nyandarua.

The respected journalist, married to Ann Wangari Kigo, recalled his worst experience occurring the same day he decided to try chang’aa after being a longtime busaa drinker.

Fred explained how the events unfolded, describing how he became extremely dizzy and decided to lie on the ground to rest.
