The family of a Ghanaian man who had wished to become a pilot honored his dream by burying him in a plane-shaped coffin, fulfilling his long-held desire to end up in the cockpit of a plane.

The man’s unconventional burial method has trended online after a video surfaced, showing mourners circling the plane-shaped coffin to view his body.

The video, shared widely by TikTok user Director Nat, a Ghanaian creator, has sparked discussions due to the precise details of the unique coffin, which was shaped like an aircraft and even featured rotor blades on top.

The coffin’s design suggested that the maker aimed to create a chopper-shaped coffin, complete with offboarding stands and seats.

Pieces of cloth were affixed to the front, where the maker had installed window-like features, though the head was facing the opposite direction, with people viewing the body from the tail.
