A Kenyan woman living in Qatar has revealed the unusual and shameful circumstances under which three of her Nairobi-based companions were deported back to Kenya.

According to her, the trio had gone out to party, overly confident in their familiarity with the country and their outgoing personalities.

However, things took a turn when a scuffle broke out, drawing police attention.

Upon investigation, authorities discovered bottles of alcohol in their rooms, which is a serious offense in Qatar.

How ‘Anguka Nayo’ Led to Their Deportation

In the video, Sauti ya Doha recalls that at the time of the incident, the popular Kenyan song “Anguka Nayo” had just been released and was gaining widespread attention, even among Kenyans in Qatar.

She explained that the three women were obsessed with the song and adopted its carefree attitude, fueling their desire to party without caution.

The women even instructed their Uber driver to play the song on their way back from the club, heavily intoxicated.

Once they arrived at their apartment, they continued causing chaos, singing the song loudly, disturbing other residents.

At this point, one of their roommates confronted them, asking them to calm down. This led to a physical altercation, leaving the roommate injured.

She had to be rushed to the hospital, and as per Qatari law, an investigation was launched to determine the cause of her injuries.

The authorities eventually traced the incident back to the Kenyan trio.

This discovery led to their immediate deportation.

According to Sauti ya Doha, one of the women later shared the story from Kenya, expressing regret at how she had squandered a life-changing opportunity.
