The accident, which occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the Jambo Kenya area—a notorious blackspot—saw the Nairobi-to-Kisumu-bound bus veer off course, sending passengers into chaos.
Among the victims was a juvenile, whose life was tragically cut short.
National Police Service Spokesperson Dr. Resila Onyango confirmed the fatality and reported that numerous others were rushed to nearby hospitals with injuries.
Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene, but the damage had already been done—this was just another tragic chapter in a rising epidemic of road carnage.
