  • Comedienne Elsa Majimbo has taken netizens down the memory lane and unveiled a teenage heartbreak she underwent just because she dared to let her hair grow long
  • Elsa disclosed that she dated a boy who loved her to the core and who would flaunt her off saying that she would be the mother of his children
  • However, she said their relationship took a nosedive when she chose to grow her hair when the boy travelled to Spain shortly, as he returned to be disillusioned by the change, ultimately causing the demise of their romance

Comedienne Elsa Majimbo has reminisced about a moment from her teenage years when a boy she was deeply in love with abruptly ended their relationship solely because she chose to grow her hair long.

Majimbo was following her well-known content creation routine – narrating a story while dressing and applying oil to her body, before eventually standing up and catwalking backward to provide her audience with a better view of her attire

The Kenyan-born comedienne, now based in the US, began the narrative by recounting the strong bond they shared when she had short hair, noting how the boy never ceased to compliment her on her beauty.

She recounted that their love was at its peak during that time, recalling how the boy would openly kiss her in public at the mall and proudly declare that she would be the mother of his children.

However, things took a turn for the worse when the comedienne, whose past video of her singing in a high school choir has surfaced online, decided to grow her hair out after the boy departed for a brief football stint in Spain.

On coming back however, Majimbo recalled that the boy did not dare to even say hi or look at her, despite the fact that they were together with his friends and were convening at a mall so they can go visit a snake park together.

Majimbo recounted how the boy reacted with utter disgust to her new hairstyle, and didn’t show interest despite sharing the same Uber ride home on the day of the rejection.

Despite this shared journey, she said the boy chose to sever ties completely and never spoke to her again.

Majimbo noted that despite the boy’s affluent background, he harbored suspicions about the source of his family’s wealth due to a past Incident where his brother was kidnapped and their house was targeted.

However, she expressed that her love for him remained unwavering, unaffected by such concerns.
