Kenyans have been left super enraged after a post shared by former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko showed him hanging out with vernacular artists Samidoh and Dj Faxto.
Following the posts the hashtag #justice for Jeff has made an online comeback with most sharing their shock and displeasure with Samidoh.
Although DJ Faxto was last year cleared in the murder of young interior designer Jeff Mwathi in the court of public opinion he is still guilty and most still view him as a murderer who should be behind bars.
Their beef with Samidoh stems from the fact that the late 24-year-old Jeff who died under very unclear and eyebrow raising circumstances was his nephew.
On his Instagram page, Sonko posted a photo of him in the company of the two entertainers and 2 other unidentified men. The group appeared to be in a local night club joint with bottle of expensive alcohol on their table, used glasses and two bongs of shish.
Captioning the post the politician wrote, “Veves manenos hapa @habanos.lounge with the bad boys @kush_jim @samidoh_muchoki @kelvin_shaban @djfatxo,”
Which roughly translates to, “enjoying a chewing khat session over here with the boys,”
The post has left a bitter taste on netizens mouths with them expressing their immense rage and disappointment with both Sonko and Samidoh.
