Frederick is happily married to Ann Wangari Kigo, an editor at the International Rescue Committee and the brains behind SheSpark, a dynamic digital platform empowering women and nurturing thriving marriages.

In a Facebook video, Fred reminisced about his early days living in Imara Daima, where financial instability led him to walk all the way to the Standard Media Group offices on Mombasa Road.
