A photo showing former Coro FM presenter Wanyeki Sonko selling ngwashe and smokies on the streets has sparked concern among fans.

 Shared by Facebook influencer Karangu Muraya, the image depicts the once-popular radio personality standing beside a cart loaded with boiled sweet potatoes and smokies, prompting speculation about his current situation.

In the post, Karangu expresses support for Sonko’s new venture, hoping that despite setbacks in his journalism career and financial difficulties, he will eventually thrive in the hospitality industry with the help of netizens and second chances.

Since his time in the limelight at the top Kikuyu radio station, Munywoki has largely remained out of the public eye, except for occasional updates on his personal life.
