In the bustling streets of Eastleigh, a routine errand turned into a nightmare for 26-year-old Adan Ali Mohamed.
With over KSh 3.9 Million in hand, wrapped in vibrant green paper, he set out on his bodaboda, aiming to deposit the sizable sum at a nearby bank in BBS Mall.
However, fate had a cruel twist in store for him.
Upon reaching his destination, Adan’s hopes were dashed as he discovered the bank’s closure, thwarting his plans.
Undeterred, he decided to head back home, opting for the convenience of a bodaboda ride. Little did he know that this decision would plunge him into a terrifying ordeal.

As he navigated the crowded streets, Adan’s journey took a sinister turn near Bulsho car wash. Another bodaboda rider suddenly intercepted him, his intentions nefarious.
Without warning, the assailant unleashed a gunshot, leaving Adan wounded and reeling in shock.
Eastleigh Voice reported that the sound of gunfire jolted bystanders, including Abdirashid Ali, the manager of Bulsho car wash, into action.
Rushing to the scene, they found Adan lying injured on the ground, while the perpetrator vanished into thin air, along with the substantial sum of money.
