  • Ex-Tahidi High actor Omosh Kizangila has dazzled fans with his youthful glow since he stopped drinking alcohol
  • In a viral video, Omosh also grooved to Christin Ashusho’s uplifting gospel track, “Umenifanya Ningare,” showcasing his remarkable transformation to his followers
  • The former actor received praise from fans who marveled at his radiant complexion, which they said contrasted starkly to his former one

Joseph Kinuthia also know as Omosh Kizangila has left fans in awe with his fresh and youthful appearance since giving up alcohol.

He also danced to Christina Shusho’s uplifting gospel song, “Umenifanya Ningare,” showcasing his impressive transformation for his followers.

Fans praised the former actor, noting his glowing skin and reduced wrinkles compared to his appearance during his battle with alcoholism.

In a lively dance to the music, Omosh matched his moves with infectious energy, sharing the video with fans on TikTok, where he’s been active since his community supported his recovery.

Omosh rose to fame through his role in the popular local series “Tahidi High” and is a testament to resilience, having overcome years of struggle with alcohol and drug addiction.

For years, he skillfully kept the show running with his acting prowess, but little did many know that he was battling alcoholism behind the scenes.

Despite his struggles, Omosh remained one of the most prominent actors in the country, rubbing shoulders with the elite of the local entertainment industry and making appearances everywhere.

Did Omosh’s Alcoholism Affect His Family?

Married to two wives, the actor nearly lost his marriage and family due to his alcohol addiction.

In 2023, he opened up about how a harmless sip of liquor spiraled into a full-blown addiction over time.

During his time on “Tahidi High,” Omosh admitted to consuming 10 beers daily without feeling their effects. As a public figure, he found himself frequenting parties and events where free drinks were abundant, deepening his descent into alcoholism.

Soon, he became a regular at liquor stores, seeking cheap hard liquor known as “Mzinga” for as little as 500 shillings a day, regardless of his financial situation.

Fortunately, when he reached out for help online, fans and celebrities rallied to his aid, resulting in significant support, including the construction of a new home.

Media personality Jalang’o spearheaded fundraising efforts, ultimately surpassing the target of 1 million shillings. In an update, he shared the overwhelming response, totaling 1,050,000 shillings, along with additional contributions like a shopping voucher, furniture, and a TV.
