  • Kenyans seized upon a stalled lorry transporting gas cylinders on Outering Road, looting all the cylinders it carried

A lorry carrying gas cylinders stalled on Outering Road, prompting Kenyans to swiftly seize all cylinders aboard, as depicted in a viral video from yesterday evening.

Individuals, including many women, were observed hurriedly collecting cylinders from the stranded vehicle, drawing the attention of others who joined in the looting frenzy.

Allegedly left stranded by its driver seeking assistance, the lorry became a target for looters, with identifiable purple-pinkish cylinders from the Pro Gas company visible both in the hands of looters and inside the vehicle.

Kenyans Loot Bales of Unga After Nairobi Bound Trailer Causes Accident

In a separate incident along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, Kenyans were captured on video seizing bales of flour following an accident involving a trailer transporting the goods.

Footage revealed individuals fleeing with the valuable cargo, each bale containing over 24 packets of flour.

Unfortunately, some bales were destroyed as a result of the accident, with their contents spilled onto the road. This pattern of looting after accidents has persisted among Kenyans for years.
