A Kenyan boy, claiming to have attended the prestigious St. Andrews Turi, shared details of a history class trip to Russia, leaving Kenyans in awe.

Using the username Nowell on TikTok, the boy said the idea of traveling abroad came after they complained to their teacher about not understanding the concept of the world wars and their origins.

He recalled that the suggestion of visiting the country was raised, with the teacher agreeing and informing parents to pay KSh 1.5 million for the students’ flights and other costs.

By the end of his story, the boy left many wondering if he truly attended the expensive school, especially when he expressed irritation that they couldn’t book first-class tickets because some students could only afford economy class.

Details of Luxurious Life at St. Andrews Turi

The boy described the school as treating students royally, with butlers waking them up by ringing bells and politely tapping them.

He explained that the school hosted students from around the world, and their breakfast buffet included dishes from far-off countries like China, showcasing their lavish lifestyle.

The boy explained that they wore pajamas to bed, had staff who ironed their clothes, and even preheated showers for them before they bathed.

Students Travel to Russia

Nowell recounted that on the day of their Russia trip, they went to the airport by helicopter and used the VIP entrance because the airport staff knew the school’s reputation.

He said they flew to the distant country, learned much about its history, and gained a better understanding than they would have theoretically in class, as their teacher had hoped.
