Amber Ray Fires Back at Netizens Who Claimed Maverick Aoko Was Arrested Because of Her

Businesswoman Faith Makau, popularly known as Amber Ray, has fiercely responded to netizens who linked her to the arrest of controversial social media influencer Maverick Aoko.

The arrest, which has dominated online conversations, came after Aoko was accused of posting false, defamatory, and threatening content.

Amber Ray, a staple in Kenya’s entertainment scene, found herself at the center of the drama when netizens began speculating that she was involved in Aoko’s arrest.

The influencer, known for her bold statements, took to Instagram Stories for a Q&A session, where one fan directly accused her of being connected to Aoko’s legal troubles.

Amber Ray, however, did not hesitate to set the record straight. In her typical no-nonsense style, she fired back with a blunt “Hell No!”—a firm denial of any involvement.

She further engaged with fans, joking that if the government was using her name for attention, they should at least pay her for it.

Maverick Aoko’s arrest, following several complaints about her online posts, was orchestrated by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Her lawyer questioned the harsh nature of the arrest, suggesting that the issue could have been resolved privately between individuals instead of becoming a legal matter.

Despite these claims, Aoko’s controversial posts about Amber Ray and her former partner, Jimal Rohosafi, have fueled speculation and debate on social media.
