When social media influencer Carol Muthoni, known as Carol Sonnie, found herself struggling to cope with intense online trolling, it was fellow comedian Nasra Yusuf who became her biggest source of support.

Sonnie had just gone through a public breakup with comedian Mulamwah and was also dealing with the pressures of being a new mother.

The relentless criticism from social media nearly pushed her to the edge of a mental breakdown.

In a recent interview, Sonnie revealed how Nasra stepped in at her lowest point, paying for her therapy and encouraging her to attend sessions regularly.
