Charlene Ruto Opens Up on Coping with Online Insults: “My Purpose is Clear”

Charlene Ruto, daughter of President William Ruto, has candidly shared how she handles online insults and harassment.

Addressing her followers on Instagram on July 14th, Charlene revealed the strength behind her resilience and the unwavering focus on her purpose.

“Many of you ask me how I can have such thick skin and continue regardless of the insults and abuse I receive. I thought I’d share this response as we start the week… praying is encouraging no matter what you’re going through,” she wrote.

Charlene went on to explain that she remains unfazed by criticisms about her appearance or choices.

“It means that no matter what names they call me, the insults they hurl, how they mistreat me, my hairstyle, my clothes, etc., my calling and purpose are clear in my heart, no matter what,” she added in her Instastories.

Expounding on her life’s mission, Charlene stated that she feels called by God to work with young people.

“The truth be told… God called me to work with young people, and once He did… I cultivated love and passion for what I do. I enjoyed my personal life before, but now I am even happier. I have fulfilled and am satisfied with living out my purpose,” she said.

In her final remarks, Charlene encouraged her followers to stay true to their hearts despite any negativity.

“So just think about it, they will talk behind your back, laugh at you, mistreat you, and much more… but when you know what you are doing comes from your heart, from the hearts and guidance of God, do it just like that!”
