Ciru Muriuki has penned a heartwarming post to her fiancé, Charles Ouda, who died on February 3.

March 3 marked exactly a month after Ouda passed away and the former BBC journalist paid a glowing tribute to him. Ciru admitted that life was never the same after the award-winning actor’s departure.

Ciru Muriuki has penned a heartwarming post to her fiancé, Charles Ouda, who died on February 3.

On her Instagram page Ciru Wrote:

“One month.

One month without you.

One month of pain I didn’t think was possible. You were my favorite hello, and my hardest goodbye.

But there can never be goodbyes between us.

Just the longing to see you again.

My life will forever be better because you were in it.

I love you Ceej.”

The actor Charles Ouda was cremated at the Kariokor Crematorium on February 15.

Ouda proposed to the former BBC journalist Muriuki in September 2023, but he died five months later.

Ouda was cremated after a funeral mass at the All Saints Cathedral and Ouda’s body left for Kariokor, where, before he was cremated, his family placed white roses on top of the caskets, which showed love and admiration for his work.

The 42-year-old media personality Ciru Muriuki burst into tears as her  friends Patricia Kihoro and Silas Miami and other relatives comforted her during her fiance’s cremation.

Ouda proposed to the former BBC journalist Muriuki in September 2023, but he died five months later.

The lovebirds were planning to walk down the aisle when death struck.
