Officiated by the United States ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the ceremony incorporated elements from both their backgrounds, highlighting their commitment to each other.

Reflecting on the significance of having Thomas-Greenfield as their officiant, Lemon expressed gratitude, stating, “She’s a friend, and it means that much to us.”

The grooms, dressed in custom suits by Suit Supply and donning rings designed by Mark Lash, integrated traditions from their respective families into the ceremony, including an Irish blessing led by Malone’s sisters and a symbolic gesture of jumping over a broom.
