Comedian Makokha In Mourning After Death of His Beloved Wife

Kenyan comedian Alfonse Makacha dot Makokha, famously known as Alfonse Makacha Makokha or “Babyface” from the popular TV show Vioja Mahakamani on KBC Channel 1, is mourning the loss of his beloved wife, Purity Wambui.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Makokha shared the devastating news with his friends and fans, expressing profound sadness at her passing.

“She was a remarkable woman who touched many lives with her kindness and warmth,” Makokha wrote, highlighting the significant impact Wambui had on those around her.

The comedian’s post conveyed deep gratitude for the love and support he and his family have received during this incredibly difficult time.

Makokha’s journey from a street boy in Maringo estate to a celebrated comedian and music producer has been marked by resilience and determination.

Born in Kakamega, his family relocated to Maringo due to conflict between the Sumbiji and Teso communities.

Despite struggling academically, Makokha found his passion for comedy in school dramas, crediting his father for instilling a love for languages and humor in him.

Over the years, Makokha’s talent and hard work have led to significant achievements, including performances at Safari Park and international opportunities in countries like Korea, Spain, Canada, the UK, and Egypt.
