It was an emotional ceremony over the weekend as Kenya’s fast-rising comedienne, Dem Wa Facebook, finally handed over the mansion she had been building for her parents to them.

The occasion was filled with pomp, and many Kenyan celebrities and content creators accompanied her to witness the joyous event.

During this time, her sisters took turns giving speeches, each talking about how Dem Wa Facebook had transformed their lives.

At one point, one of her sisters, upon being handed the microphone, knelt down and broke into tears.

She spoke emotionally about how Dem Wa Facebook had never turned her back on them even after her life improved, expressing how she lacked words to thank her.

This heartwarming moment moved Dem Wa Facebook to tears, and she was seen sobbing in her seat as attendees watched the touching scene with admiration.

Dem Wa Facebook Thanks Parents for Their Support

Later, as the ceremony neared its conclusion, the comedienne gave a speech, sharing that she had always had one dream: to build her parents a house.

Dem Wa Facebook’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric, given that she was a football player for the longest time before venturing into comedy, a career move that paid off tremendously.
