The two started by recording a video together, where Diana asked him to smile for the camera.

Her dad, clearly enjoying the moment with his daughter, tried his best to comply.

Diana explained that they looked so good on camera because they were “sunkissed,” playfully joking about her dad’s reaction to the term.

Later in the day, her dad grew tired of Diana’s constant requests to smile.

At one point, he teased her, saying he had been smiling all along, but she hadn’t noticed and should stop nagging him.

Where Were the Two Headed?

The father-daughter duo was then seen in the video heading to an Indian restaurant in Nairobi.

Diana expressed her love for her dad throughout the video.

How Did Fans React?

Fans couldn’t help but share their excitement about seeing Diana’s dad.

Many were meeting him for the first time and quickly noticed his resemblance to Diana’s friend, Mitchell, and his gap-toothed smile, similar to Diana’s youngest daughter, Malaika.

Some fans recalled stories Diana had previously shared about her father, mentioning how he used to mistreat them.
