Former “Real Househelps of Kawangware” Actress Esther Chebet Worries Fans With Emotional Post

Esther Chebet, a beloved former actress from the popular Kenyan show “Real Househelps of Kawangware,” has stirred concern among her fans with a deeply emotional social media post.

Chebet, who has been noticeably absent from the public eye, opened up about her recent struggles and hinted at a troubling phase in her life.

In her heartfelt message, Chebet wrote, “Hey guys, imekua kitambo tangu nipost hapa, but life has been moving too fast… I don’t know if I’ll be okay by end of day, but I got myself into something I can’t really reverse. Life is spiritual and I think I tapped into the wrong realms in my search for peace of mind and tapped into the wrong energies.”

She expressed regret and gratitude, acknowledging those she may have wronged and those who have supported her.

“For those nimekosea along the way poleni sana and for those wamenishika mkono Asanteni sana. I made new friends who were in a totally different path and got into things I didn’t really expect. Na sidhani itasha poa. Tiktok friends @muyu_the_intuitive_empath @Doshi @cate waumoja and your friends poleni sana.”

The post quickly drew an outpouring of support and encouragement from her followers, who shared their messages of hope and strength:

Purity MMugo commented, “Just yesterday you crossed my mind, I noticed I haven’t seen a post from you in ages. Whatever it is, You will be okay.”

Dee Strapola added, “May you find peace in whatever you are going through and remember not to give up. So many people are looking up to you and love you.”

Rosemary Muthoni offered reassurance, saying, “Hi dear, you are stronger than you think. I’ve seen you get out of other hardships before. Remember God will never allow something bigger than you to come to you.”

Other fans echoed similar sentiments, urging Chebet to stay strong and have faith that she will overcome her current challenges.

Esther Chebet Calls Out Body Shamers, Entitled Netizens

In October of 2023, the thespian took to Instagram to address body shamers and entitled netizens, cautioning against the entitlement some people feel over others’ bodies and lives.

Chebet shared her personal experience with weight gain and the subsequent judgment she faced.

She recounted how people, including complete strangers, felt entitled to criticize her appearance, often leaving mean and insulting messages without understanding her circumstances.

“Just because someone is in the public eye doesn’t mean they are less human,” Chebet reminded her followers.

She opened up about the devastation she felt after losing her mother, a loss that contributed to her weight gain. “I lost my mother last year, some of you know this others don’t. Well, I watched my mom die last year,” she revealed, highlighting that medical negligence played a significant role in her mother’s death.

Chebet also spoke about her struggles with mental health following this loss. “Mental illness and depression aren’t foreign terms to me… March this year I got hospitalized and was there for about two weeks on meds and some mood stabilizers that have so many side effects,” she shared.
