A young Gen Z woman who attended yesterday’s Finance Bill protests in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) has gone viral after humorously asking police to consider using flavored tear gas.

In a widely shared TikTok video, the fearless woman is seen walking alongside her friend while police lob tear gas canisters in the background.

Her bold and unconventional request has left Kenyans stunned and has sparked a trending topic on social media about the audacity of Gen Z.

In the clip, she petitions authorities to introduce flavors similar to those found in vape pens, stating that the pepper-flavored tear gas being used was too bland.

He humorously responds that the current tear gas flavor is “minty ice” and emphasizes the need for more flavor options, leaving netizens amused.
