  • Hours after the self-styled daughter of former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko flaunted her lavish lifestyle, a woman battling breast cancer has turned to her for help
  • The woman who is from Githurai 45 said she is aged 50 and needs her intervention to lead a better life
  • She explained that she was prompted to make the request after seeing a video of Sandra flaunting her life and treating her dog  lavishly

A Woman from Githurai 45, suffering from breast cancer, has reached out to Sandra Mbuvi, daughter of Mike Sonko, pleading for assistance just hours after Sandra showcased her luxurious lifestyle.

The 50-year-old woman revealed that life has become increasingly difficult for her after undergoing a mastectomy due to breast cancer.

Her first breast was removed in 2014, and she recently lost her other one to the disease.

She said she was prompted to seek help from Sandra after seeing a video of her on Obinna’s TV show, where Sandra was seen feeding her dog lavishly.

The woman expressed disbelief that a dog could receive such treatment while she struggled to afford basic necessities, including medication, and urged Sandra to intervene in her case.

The woman explained that cancer treatment, particularly chemotherapy, requires eating fruits regularly, but she has been unable to maintain that lifestyle due to her dire circumstances.

She also requested that Sandra help her move out of the dilapidated rental apartment she currently lives in and build her a house.

The woman mentioned that she owns a piece of land in Embu and that Sandra could either build a house there or contribute materials to help her construct one.

This plea for help came after Sandra’s interview, in which she flaunted her affluent lifestyle, went viral, causing a stir online.

Sandra, the youngest daughter of former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, talked about a dowry price worth over 70 lions and mentioned her collection of luxury cars, including Bentleys.

In one clip, Sandra, who studies at a university in the U.S. and is currently in Kenya on holiday, stated that she doesn’t know what fare is or even where Nairobi neighborhoods like Githurai or Dandora are.

Kenyan Prince Offers to Pay the Woman’s Rent for Six Months

The video, which surfaced today, August 27, sparked widespread reactions from Kenyans.

Among those who responded was Forex trader and TikToker Kenyan Prince, who asked for the woman’s Mpesa number so he could send her money to cover six months of rent.

His gesture was met with applause from a significant number of netizens who believed the woman’s plea was genuine, while others hoped Kenyan Prince would follow through on his promise.

Some commenters suggested that the woman should ask for a job rather than relying on handouts, while others argued that she truly needed assistance as she is undergoing chemotherapy.

Here are some of the comments:
