  • A beef between Tanzania’s biggest musicians has taken pace after Harmonize shaded his mule Diamond Platnumz
  • Harmonize claimed that Diamond has for close to 15 years been propagating claims that he fathered his career, and exclaimed that the confessions have reached an irritating peak
  • Diamond retaliated saying he has no beef with the ‘Teacher’ hitmaker, but Harmonize insisted on his point, flaunting that Diamond can’t afford his appreciated rate card of KSh 30M for a single show

Tanzanian artist Harmonize has rebuked Diamond Platnumz for consistently appropriating his success, lamenting that it has become vexatious.

The ‘Teacher’ hitmaker confessed that he had reached a juncture where the artist’s assertions of having contributed to his maturation had started to become deafening.

Harmonize conveyed that whether Diamond indeed catalyzed his career was no longer pivotal, and conveyed gratitude for any potential contributions.

“I bestowed him!!!!! Yes, I did!!!!! Indeed!! Thank you!! But it’s tedious!! I’m nearing regret.”

Shortly thereafter, Diamond Platnumz defended himself on Instagram, expressing admiration for Harmonize’s achievements and proposing a collaborative concert.

He asserted that Harmonize, along with other esteemed Bongo Flava artists like Ibra and Mac Voice, were his allies and refuted any suggestion that he undervalues Harmonize’s work.

“Konde, Let me be proud of you, you are my golden children, once I’m done here, I move on to my grandkids now, like Ibra, Mac Voice, etc… In 15 years, I want us to organize a family event and celebrate a little of what God has blessed us with.“

However, Harmonize declined the offer, contending that Diamond Platnumz would be unable to meet his current booking fee of TSH 600 million / Ksh 30 million per show.

He derided Diamond, who boasts of being the Bongo Flava king, in unapologetic terms, alleging that Diamond only remembers others once he has amassed enough for himself.

Harmonize asserted that his value has appreciated over their fifteen years of rivalry and vowed not to dine at the same table as Diamond.

“Tatizo Masikini Huyu Hukumbuka Wanawe Akishakusanya Mali Zake !!!!! Anyway Haiwezi Kuja Tokea!!! Hiyo Miaka 15 Maana Milllioni 600.m Kunilipa Hutoweza!!! Sikia Unaweza Kuwa Mkub Wak Wa Ku Wafanya Wengine Wadogo Ila Unaweza Kuwa Mkubwa Zaidi Kwa Kuwafanya Wengine Wakub Wa Pia !!!! Ulidai Nimekulipa Iwe Mwisho Inachosha!!!!!! Unachokinadi Now Hustahilii !!!! Bro U Can Not Eat Your Cake And Have It.”

Which translates to: “The problem with this poor fellow is that he forgets his children once he gathers his wealth!!!! Anyway, it won’t happen!!! Those 15 years, because paying me 600 million won’t be possible!!! Listen, you can be great by lifting others up, but you can be even greater by lifting others who are great as well!!!! You claimed I’ve paid you, let it be the end, it’s tiresome!!!! What you’re boasting about now isn’t deserved!!!! Bro, you can’t have your cake and h…”
