Mary Jahmby Koikai, the celebrated reggae deejay affectionately known as Fyah Mummah, has tragically passed away following a prolonged battle with endometriosis.

Koikai, renowned for her vibrant performances and unwavering advocacy, breathed her last on Tuesday morning, leaving behind a legacy that transcends the music industry.

Throughout her illustrious career, Koikai courageously confronted the debilitating effects of endometriosis, a chronic condition characterized by tissue growth outside the uterus.

Despite undergoing numerous surgeries to address complications such as lung collapses—a common occurrence with endometriosis—her health continued to deteriorate.
