  • While speaking at the ‘Iko Nini’ podcast, Langata MP Jalang’o told a Kenyan man who claimed to be his look alike not to expect any help
  • He said looking like someone isn’t a career and dosent guarantee any financial aid
  • This is after the man took to social media to excitedly announce his lofty ambitions after realizing he shared similar body features with the wealthy MP

Lang’ata Member of Parliament, Jalang’o, has responded to a Kenyan man claiming to be his lookalike, stating that he should not expect any help from him.

This comes after the man, who believes his resemblance to the MP is uncanny, alleged that he has received no support from Jalang’o.

In response, Jalang’o advised the man to continue pursuing his life as if they didn’t look alike, urging him to abandon the notion of expecting assistance based solely on their resemblance.

Speaking on the “Iko Nini” podcast, Jalang’o explained that his comments were not coming from a place of malice, but rather as a reality check.

He emphasized that looking like someone is not a career.

This incident is part of a growing trend in the entertainment industry where Kenyans claim to be lookalikes of various celebrities, both locally and internationally.

Recently, a woman claimed to be the perfect lookalike of TikTok sensation Azziad Nasenya, while another man asserted that he was the doppelganger of American rapper 50 Cent.

The trend began when a man with a striking resemblance to American singer Jason Derulo gained significant attention, which was soon followed by another individual claiming to be the Kenyan version of Diamond Platnumz.
