  • James Wanjohi has finally addressed the allegations connecting him to a significant job scandal
  • Allegations emerged linking Wanjohi to a KSh 600 million job scandal related to Worthstart Limited, a company in which he serves as a director
  • Reports suggested that Wanjohi, previously portrayed as a preacher, allegedly solicited payments ranging from KSh 100,000 to 140,000 from individuals promising them visas and lucrative abroad jobs

James Wanjohi, a prominent figure in both business and politics, has broken his silence amidst swirling allegations tying him to a massive job scandal.

Reports surfaced linking Wanjohi to a KSh 600 million job scandal involving Worthstart Limited, a company where he holds a directorship position.

Wanjohi, currently on a business trip abroad, expressed disbelief upon learning of the accusations.

He clarified that neither has he been officially summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) nor seen any mention of the investigation on social media platforms, learning of it solely through certain media outlets.

Dismissing claims made against Worthstart Limited, Wanjohi refuted assertions that the company falsely promised jobs to over 4,000 clients.

Instead, he clarified that the company facilitated visa processes, a fact disclosed in contracts signed by fewer than 800 clients.

Wanjohi attributed the allegations to political vendettas and business rivalries, emphasizing that the company, barely a year old, was not the source of his personal wealth, including high-end vehicles showcased on social media.

Addressing concerns about the use of the term “pastor” and purported church affiliations, Wanjohi clarified that any association with a church named “Jesus Culture” in Roysambu was fabricated to evoke emotional responses and add controversy to the narrative.

Wanjohi pledged his full cooperation with the ongoing investigations upon his return to the country, reaffirming his willingness to assist the DCI in uncovering the truth behind the allegations.
