  • Kenyan Prince, a 23-year-old forex trader, has revealed his plans to run for the Starehe parliamentary seat in the 2027 general elections
  • The social media sensation shared a campaign poster on Instagram, announcing his candidacy for the seat
  • The Starehe parliamentary seat is currently held by Jubilee’s Honorable Amos Mwago

23-year-old forex trader Kenyan Prince has unveiled his ambitious plans to vie for the Starehe parliamentary seat in the 2027 general elections.

The outspoken trader, who is also a sensation on social media, particularly TikTok, revealed his intentions through a campaign poster featuring his picture and manifesto, which he shared on Instagram.

Accompanying the poster was a caption in which he asked God to fulfill his wishes to clinch the seat in the 2027 elections, committing his plans to divine guidance.

Kenyan Prince, whose real name is Raymond Omosa, hails from Kisii and gained fame for flaunting money, expensive gadgets, and luxury cars, making him a recognized figure on the internet.

In his Instagram post, the campaign poster showed him in a blue suit, with the phrase “Kazi kwa Vijana” at the bottom, suggesting his focus on uplifting the youth.

The entrepreneur was one of the celebrities who took to the streets during the June 25 anti-finance bill protests, accompanied by viral Ugandan hitmaker Hoozambe.

This came after backlash poured on him for initially supporting the finance bill, but he changed his stance during the social media rallies when he realized the majority of youth were fervently opposing the bill.

The Starehe MP seat he is aiming for is currently held by Honourable Amos Mwago of the Jubilee Party, after being held from 2017 by renowned singer turned politician Charles Njagua.
