  • Comedienne Eunice Mammito Njeri took to social media to hit back at body-shaming trolls, who have relentlessly targeted her physique
  • In a powerful post, she explained that losing weight led to the changes in her body and made it clear that she’s proud of her appearance
  • Mammito warned trolls that she’s “built differently” and won’t be shaken by their comments, reminding them of her ghetto roots where roasting was a daily affair

Eunice ‘Mammito’ Njeri, one of Kenya’s top stand-up comedians, is taking a stand against cyberbullying.

Known for her sharp wit and humorous skits, Mammito is no stranger to online trolls who often attack her body physique, specifically targeting her breasts and neck.

In a recent interview, she candidly shared her experience, revealing that the criticism goes beyond social media, having started as early as her school days.

“People have always made fun of my boobs for being saggy. But what’s wrong with that?” Mammito asked defiantly. “I’ve lost a lot of weight, and I’ve accepted myself for who I am. It’s sad to see women changing themselves to please others because of such comments.”

But Mammito isn’t backing down. She warns trolls that she’s built differently and isn’t easily rattled.

Growing up in the ghettos, where mchongoano (roasting) was a daily affair, Mammito learned to defend herself with brutal comebacks.

“I’m probably the hardest person to roast. If you come for me, be ready. I’ll react in ways that might get to you,” she cautioned.
