Former nominated Senator and Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Millicent Omanga has revealed that her new Range Rover cost her a staggering KSh60 million.

In an exclusive interview with Mpasho, Omanga discussed the luxury features of her new vehicle and shared insights on various aspects of her life and career.

In a candid conversation with Mpasho’s Kalondu Musyimi, Omanga expressed her fondness for the high-end features of her 2024 Range Rover, particularly its back massage function.

“I love that it can massage my back when I’m driving… my 2024 baby can massage my back and I love my back massage,”

When asked about the biggest risk she has ever taken, Omanga cited the purchase of her Sh60 million car as a significant leap.

“I think buying my new Sh60 million car,”

In the quick-fire segment of the interview, Omanga shared personal tidbits and advice including that her favorite activity outside of work was “Dance and udaku kidogo with my people.”

Omanga said her Relationship advice was:

“Don’t be in a rush coz it’s not that serious. Take it easy. You have to be friends first and get to know each other. And when you do, always remember that it’s not a matter of life and death.”

Omanga recently stirred a social media storm by showcasing her new Range Rover on X (formerly Twitter).

She posted photos of the vehicle at an undisclosed location, accompanied by a caption expressing gratitude: “My new baby. Date of Birth, 2024. Ni God.”

The post triggered a flurry of reactions from users, ranging from admiration to criticism.

While many praised Omanga’s success and congratulated her on the acquisition, others criticized the ostentatious display of wealth.

The mixed reactions highlighted the polarizing nature of public figures showcasing their affluence on social media.

Omanga, who was appointed as a Chief Administrative Secretary, faced a setback when the court declared the CAS position unconstitutional.

She had been assigned to the Interior docket, and despite the legal hurdles, Parliament has recently passed a bill aiming to anchor the CAS positions in law, suggesting a possible return for Omanga and her colleagues.
