MP Oscar Sudi’s Generous Ksh3 Million Donation Sparks Jubilation in Uasin Gishu County

  • Sudi was accompanied by his Kiharu counterpart Ndindi Nyoro, who also gave Ksh I million

Kapseret Member of Parliament, Oscar Sudi, made a generous donation of Ksh3 million towards the construction of a cathedral in Uasin Gishu County on Sunday, March 10, 2024, much to the delight of the congregants.

In a viral video, Sudi is seen handing over the substantial amount in cash as his colleague, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, cheered him on at the AIC Fellowship Annex in Kesses.

Nyoro also contributed Ksh1 million to the fundraiser, which was attended by various high-ranking officials from local and national governments.

 Governors George Natembeya of Trans Nzoia, Stephen Sang of Nandi, Kenneth Lusaka of Bungoma, Wisley Rotich of Elgeyo Marakwet and Simon Kachapin of West Pokot also gave Ksh100,000 each.

 The event which enjoyed the presence of top politicians, also saw the area MP Julius Ruto and Turkana Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai make substantial contributions of Ksh100,000 and Ksh200,000, respectively.

Additionally, local ward representatives and county government officials contributed varying amounts to support the church’s construction project.

President Ruto Donates Ksh 50 Million to Salvation Army Church

In a related development, President William Ruto contributed a hefty sum of Ksh50 million to the Salvation Army Church, eliciting joyous reactions from its members.

Addressing attendees at the Salvation Army Centenary Celebrations held at Ulinzi Stadium in Nairobi on March 3, Ruto affirmed his backing for the organization’s ongoing endeavors, emphasizing his familiarity with the church’s requirements.

“ I’ve already perused the contents of the envelope and pledged Ksh50 million to bolster their initiatives. Their intentions are clear, and my support is unwavering,”

stated President Ruto, prompting applause from the audience.

Not long ago, the President also bestowed a significant sum of Ksh50 million upon the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) to aid in the establishment of a church college.
