In 2023, she turned heads when she revealed that she had earned a staggering Ksh10 million from content creation in just one year.

Munyi’s Career at BAT

Munyi’s career began at British American Tobacco (BAT), where she held a stable 9-to-5 job.

However, the awkwardness of working in the same department as her husband led her to seek new opportunities.

She ventured into PR, landing a job at RedHouse PR with a Ksh200,000 monthly salary.

Later, she moved on to Portpesa, where her earnings grew to Ksh350,000 per month.

Despite the financial security, Munyi felt unfulfilled.

Her true calling lay in the digital world, and she eventually made the bold decision to leave her corporate life behind and pursue content creation full-time.

Content Creation Career

Munyi’s journey to Ksh10 million wasn’t without its challenges.

In a candid interview, she opened up about the ups and downs of the content creation business.

While some months brought in over a million shillings, others were far less fruitful.

“Content creation is a lucrative venture, but there are always dry months,” she shared, emphasizing the cyclical nature of the industry.

For Munyi, the unpredictability of income is a constant reminder that success in content creation requires both resilience and a passion for the craft.
