Pastor Ng’ang’a Criticizes Nyali MP Mohammed Ali for Supporting Finance Bill: “Jicho Pevu Uongo”

  • Ng’ang’a also warned Ali to stay away from him, asserting that people were unhappy with all who supported the bill

Renowned city preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a has harshly criticized Nyali MP Mohammed Ali for voting in favor of the Finance Bill.

Speaking with evident anger, Ng’ang’a questioned how Ali, once an investigative journalist known for exposing government shortcomings, could support such a controversial bill.

He accused Ali of accepting bribes to vote yes and called him a liar.

Ng’ang’a expressed that he had heard the disappointment from Ali’s constituents, who had hoped he would be at the forefront of rejecting the bill.

He criticized Ali’s former investigative TV show, Jicho Pevu, which was famous for exposing corruption, asking why Ali could not expose the Finance Bill if he truly stood by his past principles.

Ng’ang’a went on to call Ali deceitful and claimed that his greed had led him to vote yes to please the president, against the wishes of many Kenyans.

He warned Ali to stay away from him, asserting that he could not be threatened and emphasizing that people were unhappy with the bill.

Ng’ang’a added that if Ali tried to confront him, his bodyguard would protect him, even to the point of lethal force.

“Hata nimeona jicho pevu pia. Nimefikiri wee. Jicho pevu ilienda wapi sasa. Mbona hauwezi kuelezea ni nini kinaendelea. Utuelezee ni nini mmenunuliwa. Mlipewa pesa ngapi. Ulivote yes na ati we ni jicho pevu. Nimeona watu wako wakisema ulivote yes. Jicho pevu wee mwenyewe jiangalie tumbo lako. waongo hawa . if you try me you kill yourself your bodyguard will shoot you”
