  • The singer is fulfilling a promise he made when he was undergoing his fourth surgery after an elongated ailment: that he would live to preach the gospel

Gengetone singer Peter Miracle Baby held his first church service yesterday, days after being ordained as a preacher of the Word of God.

The singer entertained the congregation with witty remarks, urging them not to judge him based on his past but to accept him as their new pastor.

In a video shared on Instagram, Peter is seen wearing a black shirt and trousers, with his signature dreadlocks, moving energetically across the pulpit as he delivered his sermon.

He acknowledged that some people criticized his “evil” past, referencing his days of singing secular songs and encouraging seductive dancing in the popular genre.

He urged the congregation to leave the past behind and focus on the future, emphasizing that his wamlambez and Pekejeng days were over and that he had embraced a new life in Christ.

The video also shows a female pastor from the Akorino church, dressed in a long cassock, escorting Peter, who wore a clerical collar and a cross.
