Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has responded to President Ruto’s request that he shave his hair.

In an Instagram post, Salasya, commenting on a viral video, humorously stated that he would consider shaving his hair only if the president offered his daughter Charlene to him for marriage.

He emphasized that his signature hairstyle, characterized by short locks styled in a somewhat shabby manner, was dear to him.

The exchange occurred when President Ruto, while greeting Salasya at an event, made a light-hearted comment about his hair, sparking laughter from those present.

 Although Salasya initially entertained the idea, he later clarified on social media that he was not willing to part with his cherished hairstyle.

Elsewhere the MP proudly unveiled his newly constructed mansion, complete with sets of recliner sofas in the seating area and posh white mahogany chairs adorning the dining room.

In a video, he can be heard expressing dissatisfaction to a worker about a mat placed on the doorstep, urging them to improve house management as he discovered the same mat in the toilet.

 Salasya then gave fans a tour of the immaculate and luxurious house, featuring a ceiling adorned with neon lighting.

In a separate announcement, Salasya revealed his intention to hire a YouTuber.

 Offering a salary of KSh 20,000 for the position, he encouraged interested individuals to submit their applications.
