Mumias East MP Peter Salasya had the rare opportunity to host Kalonzo Musyoka and Kijana Wamalwa, among other notable politicians, at his home, and he couldn’t hide his joy.

The MP shared a video on his Instagram showing himself sitting on a sofa alongside Wamalwa and Kalonzo, delivering joke after joke, which resulted in rib-cracking laughter from his guests.

Despite being a bachelor, Salasya treated them to various niceties and assortments, as seen in the clip, with everyone in the house having the time of their lives.

Salasya shared a joke about his constituents’ concern over who would cook for him since he doesn’t have a wife, and how they would be shocked to see him hosting and feeding prominent politicians.

Salasya, sitting next to Kalonzo with a glass in hand, asked if someone had started recording the video, prompting Wamalwa to laugh and point out that the recording was already in progress, leading to more laughter from Salasya.

Kalonzo was then seen serving himself some still water and toasting with Salasya as the witty moments continued.

In the background, some women, likely a catering group, were seen near the dining area, presumably the ones who prepared the meals.

On the table where Kalonzo and Salasya sat, there was a dish with various types of fruits and a bottle of Del Monte juice.

At the end of the video, Salasya asked his cameraman to stop recording and told his guests that they would now see the video online.
