  • DJ Pierra Makena’s 8-year-old daughter, Ricca Pokot, impressed Rwandan singer Israel Mbonyi with her confidence and maturity during a backstage conversation at the Churchill Show
  • The pair bonded over their chat, with Ricca even complimenting Mbonyi’s singing, leaving the artist pleasantly surprised
  • Their interaction, captured in a TikTok video, showcased Ricca’s poise and the strong connection they formed, despite it being their first meeting

DJ Pierra Makena’s 8-year-old daughter, Ricca Pokot, left Rwandan singer Israel Mbonyi awestruck after engaging him in a mature conversation, even complimenting his singing talent.

In a video capturing the moment, the two are seen enjoying a lively conversation, with Mbonyi chuckling at Ricca’s remarks.

Ricca, dressed in all white, exudes confidence as she gracefully brushes aside a few strands of hair from her face, much to the surprise of the ‘Nina Siri’ hitmaker.

Although the video, posted on Ricca’s TikTok page, has unclear audio due to background music, Ricca can be heard sharing something new she had recently learned with Mbonyi.

The singer, visibly pleased with the talented young girl, offers her advice, telling her that the more she makes mistakes, the more she learns, and that’s how she masters everything in the end.

Mbonyi continues to share more wisdom with the enthusiastic young girl, though some of his words are obscured by the background music.

Fans praised the strong connection between the two, despite it being their first meeting.

At the end of the conversation, Ricca expresses her joy at meeting Mbonyi, who responds by appreciating her humble and warm demeanor.

This heartwarming interaction took place during the Churchill Show, where Israel Mbonyi was the main guest and where Ricca, despite being only 8 years old, now co-hosts.

The interview followed Mbonyi’s successful sold-out shows in Kenya, where he received a warm reception, prompting him to express a desire to reside in the country.

During the Churchill Show, Kenyans had the opportunity to interact with the gospel musician, and many, especially women, were left smitten after he revealed that he is single and searching.
