Kenyan musician Stephen Otieno Adera, known professionally as Stevo Simple Boy, has stirred the music scene by declaring that Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz must pay Ksh20 million for a collaboration.

The revelation came during the Churchill Show live recording at the Carnivore grounds on August 9, 2024.

In a candid video posted on his Instagram Stories, Stevo Simple Boy, showcasing his latest Brazilian B**t Lift (BBL) hairline, made a bold statement about his valuation.

He emphasized that Diamond Platnumz needs to recognize his rising status in Kenya’s music industry.

“Diamond atulie. Hapa kuna Diamond wa Kenya. Diamond ndio amefika lakini inafaa ajue pia kuna Diamond mwingine Kenya anakuja hatari. Asubiri….Collabo naeza mlipisha Ksh20 million…Kama sio hivo hakuna collabo,” Stevo Simple Boy stated.

He further solidified his demand by tagging Diamond Platnumz in a subsequent Instagram post, reiterating his Ksh20 million fee for the collaboration.

Stevo Simple Boy, who has recently embraced a new look with a striking outfit and updated hairstyle, has been making headlines not just for his music but also for his evolving style.

During the Churchill Show event, Stevo Simple Boy sported a unique denim jacket and trousers combination, and proudly declared himself the “African King” of style. This followed his previous eye-catching appearance reminiscent of American rapper Rick Ross.
