According to a statement from the US Attorney’s office, District of New Hampshire, US Attorney Jane E. Young revealed that the defendants knowingly accepted millions of dollars in wire fraud proceeds from a victim in the US.

These ill-gotten gains were then transferred overseas to the fraud perpetrator.

“Between 2013 and 2019, the defendants received approximately $3.2 million from a fraud victim located in Texas,” stated Young.

“These proceeds were funneled into bank accounts set up by the defendants for various shell companies. Subsequently, the defendants forwarded the fraud proceeds to the perpetrator of the scheme operating in Africa, while retaining a portion of the proceeds for themselves.”

The sentencing of the defendants is scheduled for July 8, 2024, with United States District Court Judge Samantha Elliot presiding over the case.
