  • Willy Pozee, the sensational artist behind the hit track “Keroro,” has opened up about his absence from events despite receiving numerous invitations
  • Addressing the speculations surrounding his non-attendance, the singer, who recently sparked controversy for smoking on stage, revealed that organizers often perceive him as unreliable and even go as far as labeling him a “crackhead.”
  • However, Willy Paul set the records straight saying he is not hardheaded as they claim, and that he turns down invitations if the latter party can’t heed their payment agreement

Talented musician Willy Paul, affectionately known as Pozze, has finally lifted the lid on his absence from many high-profile events despite receiving invitations.

In an exclusive interview with SPM Buzz, Pozze shed light on the reasons behind his selective appearances, pointing fingers at promoters who he claims often underestimate his worth and label him as uncooperative.

The singer, known for his hit songs Keroro among others expressed frustration at being labeled “kichwa ngumu” (stubborn) by some promoters who fail to meet his standards when it comes to event bookings.

“I don’t joke… When I turn down events, they talk, they say that guy is stubborn. But they should understand. It’s the nature of the business. I turn down events. If we haven’t agreed on the price, I have to turn it down,”

Pozze emphasized the importance of promoters recognizing the value of artists and ensuring they can afford their fees before reaching out.

“If you can’t afford me now, just work on it and you’ll be able to afford me, and we’ll work together. I have no beef with anyone. After all, I would love to see the industry grow… Our promoters need to give our artists value.”
