Eric Omondi Claims KRG the Don, Cassypool’s Collaboration with William Ruto is the Reason Their Careers Have Flopped

  • Comedian-turned-activist Eric Omondi unleashed a fiery jab at KRG the Don and his accomplice Cassypool, claiming their careers have flopped
  •  The comedian went on to say the duo is now depressed, weighed down by their choice to back Ruto rather than the millions of Kenyans who were opposing the government
  • He then declared that he could never stoop to their level, vowing that if Ruto or his “impeached” deputy stepped into a mall he was in, he’d walk out on the spot

Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi now claims that singer KRG the Don’s failed music career is due to his choice to ignore Omondi’s advice not to collaborate with President William Ruto’s government.

In a video that surfaced on TikTok, the comedian-turned-activist threw shade at the “Mambo Imechemka” hitmaker, saying KRG is depressed and should have thought twice before joining hands with Ruto and his then Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua.

The comedian also said he had repeatedly urged KRG to stop working with the government and join the Kenyan public, but he only received insults in return.

Additionally, Eric mentioned that internet sensation Cassypool, who has also often supported President Ruto’s government, is now also depressed because the government has lost the full support of Kenyans, leaving both of them in a troubled state.

He added that if Kenyans should be concerned about anyone’s mental health, it should be these two because they are currently facing severe mental health struggles and could fall into deeper depression.

Eric Vows to Never Join Hands with Ruto

The celebrated activist, who was recently arrested while protesting near Parliament, made it clear that he holds a grudge against President Ruto and his Deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, saying he would never be in the same place as the two.

Eric then gave an example of the mall where he was being interviewed, saying that if Ruto and Gachagua walked into the mall while he was there, he would leave immediately.

He added that even if he were at KICC and the president walked in, he would walk away unfazed because he believes Ruto has failed the people, and he wants nothing to do with him.

The video, in which Eric made these remarks, was posted on YouTube by creator Ted Agwa, and many Kenyans shared their opinions about the lives of KRG and Cassypool.

Some mocked Cassypool, saying he had truly failed in his career after joining hands with William Ruto, as he is now working as a conductor, while others poked fun at Eric, mentioning his past claim of having seven billion, which has yet to be proven.

Here are some of the comments:

@dj_osmo: Cassypool anaombewa Mecca saa hii.

@atenusias: Si KRG alisema ako na 7 billion, kwani alimaliza?

@Sharon_Odhiambo: Cassypool saa hii ni dereva wa nganya route ya tao to buru.
