  • Diana Marua cornered her husband Bahati, lamenting that the KSh 1.5 million monthly upkeep he provides is no longer sufficient
  • A stunned Bahati questioned Diana on how she spends such a significant amount, prompting her to detail expenses like makeup and partying with friends
  • Despite his initial shock, Bahati eventually gave in, pulling out wads of cash and showering her with money as Diana continued listing even more needs

A skit has emerged featuring Diana Marua as she follows her husband, musician Bahati, to his car and asks him to increase the upkeep he usually gives her.

In the viral skit, the socialite-turned-musician is seen rushing to Bahati’s car just before he heads out of the house, making it known that the usual upkeep of KSh 1.5 million he gives her each month can no longer sustain her.

Bahati is seen taken aback by her sentiments and starts questioning her on how she uses the huge amount to the extent that she depletes it.

However, Diana didn’t lack an explanation and mentioned many ways she spends that money, including on makeup, nails, partying, and fueling her cars, including the luxe Range Rover.

Bahati seemed either understanding or perhaps tricked, and a few moments later, he is seen flushing out a wad of notes and showering her with them, wad by wad.

Diana, on seeing this, kept mentioning other responsibilities, some that she hadn’t mentioned earlier, and Bahati continued to spray the wads on her.

All this had come after the socialite cornered her husband as he prepared to leave the house and ensured he hadn’t left or started the car before gifting her the money.

Later, Diana is seen heading back to her Range Rover and placing the wads on the passenger seat before making a sigh of relief.

As the skit ended, she is heard asking if Bahati will pick her up later after she goes to the club to party, and Bahati makes a stunned reaction, more because Diana has mentioned that the money would also be spent on taking a cab.

Fans React

The video, despite being a skit, left fans with a mix of reactions, and many hailed Diana as “Aunty Mapesa.”

Others shared their own stories of struggling with life and made a stern comparison between the flashy life Diana has and their own.
