  • Shortly after reaching one million followers on TikTok, Faustine Baba Talisha has been greeted with a TikTok ban
  • The cessation of his account was abrupt and came under ambiguous circumstances, and is a devastating blow for the father of one
  • With his livelihood having been majorly dependent on the platform, the ban could prove financially burdensome if not lifted
  • His surge in followers followed his pivotal role in organizing the burial of TikToker Brian Chira, which in a big way put him at the forefront of the platform’s attention

A few hours after hitting one million followers on the popular video-sharing app, TikTok, Faustine Baba Talisha has lost his account.

The account has been banned following somewhat unclear circumstances.

This is way too sad news for the father of one, who just a few hours ago took to various platforms to celebrate his 1 million followers milestone.

In other ways, the ban, in the likelihood of it not being lifted will come at a hefty price for Baba T, who has been relying on the app to make a living.

His 1 million followers milestone comes after his ‘main organizer’ role in the burial of TikToker Brian Chira put him in the limelight, and bringing substantial traffic on his page.

He rallied Kenyans particularly those from TikTok to donate a staggering KSh 8M in support of Brian Chira’s burial.

This gave him the advantage of traffic, as many people relied on his page to get updates regarding the burial of the celebrated TikTok star, who died tragically after dashing on the highway.

So far, he is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring Brian Chira’s grandma has a decent house, after the donated  money was earmarked for the construction of her house.

Recently, he gave an update saying he had relinquished earlier plans of building a house afresh, and clarified that he had settled on buying an already-built house to make the whole process easier.
