Diana Marua Celebrates as YouTube Awards Her Golden Plaque for Surpassing One Million Subscribers

Diana Marua, the wife of musician Bahati, couldn’t hide her joy as she celebrated receiving a golden plaque from YouTube for reaching one million subscribers on the video-sharing platform.

Diana has now become the first female artist and content creator in Kenya to receive the YouTube Gold Play Button, which honors creators who have surpassed the one million subscribers mark.

Diana and her husband hosted a party where attendees dressed in red to celebrate the award. During the event, Bahati surprised her with a new iPhone.

Diana shared the news on her Instagram, expressing her elation and gratitude to her devoted fans for helping her reach this milestone.

She took time to reflect on her challenging journey in content creation, noting that she started in 2019 and became serious about it in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She celebrated her exponential growth within just four years.

In another video posted shortly after, attendees of the bash are seen celebrating jubilantly, hugging Diana and lifting the golden plaque in honor of her resilience and success.
