Mourners attending the funeral of Mombasa Deputy Governor William Kingi were left in shock as drama unfolded when ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna took the podium to speak.
Shortly after he began his address, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa interrupted, ordering him to cut his speech short. She then stormed onto the stage, snatching the microphone from him.
In a video shared by NTV, Aisha, who appeared to be the host leader, was heard chastising Sifuna, telling him to find a different platform to push his ODM narratives.
Her frustration boiled over after Sifuna veered into politics, talking about ODM party rules, which seemed to irk the crowd.

Though Aisha wasn’t initially near the podium, she had her own microphone, and from a distance, she called out Sifuna, demanding that he show respect to the Mijikenda community.
