Kabuda Breaks Down on Live TV, Recounts Struggles of Early Content Creation Days

Popular Kenyan TikToker Kabuda, known for his viral acts of kindness, recently broke down live on TV while recounting the challenges he faced when he started content creation.

During the emotional segment, Kabuda expressed his gratitude to comedian Obinna, who had always encouraged him and believed in his potential.

“Nakumbuka ukinipeanga words of hope ukaniambianga ipo siku…hadi kuna siku nilikuona nikalia machozi hadi siamini saa hii niko hapa nabonga na wewe, yaani hii ni grace na favor ya God,” Kabuda tearfully recalled.

Grateful for Family and Church Support

Kabuda, feeling fortunate to have gained widespread recognition across social media platforms, thanked his family and church for their unwavering support.

He highlighted how their belief in him kept him going even when many doubted his abilities.

“Nafeel fiti niko hapa juu si wengi waliamini kenye naeza do wengi walikua wanaona napinga vitu zangu pale nje haziwezi lakini God alikam through, support ya church, familia yangu…wamenisupport sana manze,” he shared emotionally.

Facing Rejection and Offering Forgiveness

The 26-year-old also revealed that several well-known figures had looked down on him, but he remained resilient, trusting in God’s favor.

He recounted a particularly disheartening experience where he went to Nairobi CBD for an interview that was never uploaded, despite his follow-ups. Despite this, Kabuda harbors no ill feelings and has agreed to a second interview with the same individual.

“Silipishangi mabaya kwa mabaya ameniita interview na nilimshow nitakam, and I will do just that because I believe everyone deserves a second chance,” Kabuda said.

Starting as a simple conductor, Kabuda rose to fame after a viral video showed him helping people cross flooded streets by carrying them, ensuring their shoes and feet stayed dry. This act of humanity resonated with many, catapulting him into the limelight and making him a beloved figure on social media.
