Kenyan Lady Who Failed To Understand Fancy Restaurant Menu Accidentally Orders Githeri

  • A Nairobi slay queen met her moment of shame and disappointment, when a posh-sounding meal she ordered at a luxury restaurant turned out to be Githeri
  • The lady who was on TikTok by the username @The urban babe, said she was unable to discern a meal she knew from the Westlands-based restaurant, leading to the tragic mistake
  • She said it was contrastingly awful how the man she was out with maneuvered the menu with ease, as she, on the other hand took over 30 minutes to scale it

A Kenyan lady, taken to an upscale eatery, was left flabbergasted and disheartened, upon discovering that a fancy-sounding dish she ordered was none other than Githeri.

Sharing her tale with her TikTok followers, the lady who used the username @The urbanbabe, recounted how everything was going smoothly until she was made to choose food from a menu filled with unfamiliar culinary creations.

The lady said she took over thirty minutes to settle on something and when she finally did, was met by shock after her ‘posh’ meal turned to be the ordinary maize and beans.

She explained that the meal was cleverly disguised under a posh moniker, Spanish sort of, which she had never met before.

The lady lamented her failure to consult Google beforehand to decipher the dish she had chosen, vowing not to repeat such oversights.

How did the date start?

The lady narrated to her fans that she was on her usual daily errands, when her man asked to meet for coffee later after work.

She explained expecting a more regular choice of meetup place, when the man directed her to the doors of the luxury One Africa restaurant based in Nairobi’s Westlands.

She recalled that while she struggled to scale the menu, her companion effortlessly navigated it and continued to make his  orders with ease as she sweated over what to choose.

Despite her initial reservations, she admitted to relishing the experience, especially the pork chops that came with it.
