  • Mumias East MP Peter Salasya shared that he admires how older women, or “wamama,” take good care of young men and expressed his concern about them potentially leading him astray
  • The outspoken MP noted that it’s easy for someone like him to fall for such relationships and insisted that his main focus is to avoid these tempting traps
  • He also emphasized that while he appreciates their nurturing nature, he remains committed to finding a partner who shares his values and lifestyle

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has shared his thoughts on the allure of sugar mummies, hinting at a possible openness to the idea.

In a post on Instagram on October 22, 2024, Salasya mused about the benefits of older women, saying, “Roho ya kupenda wamama isiwahi nifwata, nasikianga wanajua kulinda vijana wadogo kama mimi hadi wajisahau.”

Translated, he expressed that while he doesn’t want to be drawn to older women, he’s heard they excel at caring for younger partners.

Salasya’s candid remarks come as he navigates the challenging dating landscape.

Despite his high-profile pursuits, including a public crush on socialite Huddah Monroe and admiration for content creator Azziad Nasenya, his romantic efforts have often led to more headlines than heartwarming connections.

After facing rejection and even sparking online disputes, Salasya remains on the lookout for a partner who embodies both ambition and submission.

“I want a wife who is busy with her life but still submissive,” he explained. He feels many women in Nairobi are too entrenched in city life, which clashes with his vision of a simpler, village lifestyle.

Interestingly, advice from friends suggests he consider marrying a teacher or banker—someone whose demanding career could mean less relational stress.

Adding to the intrigue, Salasya has made headlines for his controversial stance on dating virgins, stating he wouldn’t want to take on the responsibility of “breaking in” a partner.

Instead, he humorously proposed that a virgin should find another man for that purpose before returning to him, claiming that rural men like himself are more adept at the task than their urban counterparts.
