Shiksha Arora Bids Emotional Farewell to KBC After Three Years

Shiksha Arora has taken to social media to give thanks to colleagues at KBC who had become her family, even as she announced her departure from the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) after a successful three-year tenure.

“It’s hard to say goodbye,” Shiksha wrote, reflecting on the mixed emotions of leaving a beloved workplace. She extended her thanks to viewers and colleagues who accompanied her on “an incredible journey” during her time hosting “Easy Friday.”

Shiksha reminisced about her experiences at KBC, from covering elections to dancing with Kenyan entertainment icons, and interviewing over a hundred celebrities and artists on her show.

“This isn’t just the end of a show; it’s the beginning of a new chapter which I am very excited about,” she shared.

While she hasn’t disclosed details about her next move, Shiksha’s enthusiasm hints at a promising future. She invited viewers to join her for a final farewell on “Easy Friday” tonight at 9 pm.

Shiksha joined KBC in 2021 after a similar three-year stint as a news anchor at K24.

Her engaging personality and humor quickly endeared her to audiences, establishing her as one of Kenya’s most recognized media figures.

With a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and expertise in digital marketing, her career trajectory remains bright.

Shiksha Arora’s departure from KBC marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. With her talent and experience, viewers can look forward to seeing her excel in future endeavors.
