Musician Stivo Simple Boy has requested a meeting with President William Ruto at State House to discuss solutions for the country’s struggles under the current regime.

In a TikTok video, the singer was talking about the food he was eating at a restaurant when he addressed the president directly.

The amusing video has left Kenyans in stitches, especially due to his mispronunciation of the word “Coca-Cola.”

The ‘Ndo Maanake’ hitmakerwas speaking at an undisclosed eatery, while explaining to the person recording him that he was having fries and a soft drink.

In his distinctive Swahili, Stivo appealed to Ruto, stating that while Ruto is the president of the country, he, Stivo, is the president of the suffering Kenyans.

He urged the president to schedule a meeting at State House to discuss how they could address the nation’s problems.

Kenyans reacting to the video found Stivo’s manner of speaking humorous, while some criticized him for making light of serious issues affecting the youth.

Others praised his excellent Kiswahili and growing comedic talent, suggesting he create content on topics unrelated to the current political unrest.

“Hapa nakula chipsi pia kinywaji na sharubati ya kokikoki na pia napenda kuambia rais William ruto wewe ni rais wa taifa na mimi ni rais wa wanyonge upange siku nikuje ikulu tulongelonge tuone ni kitu gani tutasaidia wananchi nayo” Said Stivo.
